Ingredients
  

  • 4 pork chops boneless or bone-in, 1–1½ inches thick
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar light or dark
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika optional
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Pat pork chops dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add pork chops and sear for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter, brown sugar, and garlic to the skillet.
  5. Stir gently as the sugar melts into a glossy glaze.
  6. Spoon glaze over pork chops and cook 1–2 more minutes until fully cooked and coated.
  7. Remove from heat and rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.
