- Melt Butter
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until just bubbling.
- Sauté Garlic
- Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant (do not brown).
- Add Cream
- Pour in heavy cream and stir. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Season
- Stir in Cajun seasoning, black pepper, and optional paprika or cayenne.
- Add Cheese
- Reduce heat to low and gradually whisk in Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
- Adjust & Serve
- Taste and adjust salt and spice. Serve immediately or keep warm on low heat.
