Season chicken tenders lightly with salt and pepper.
Heat oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through; remove and set aside.
Reduce heat. Add garlic to the same skillet and sauté until fragrant.
Stir in cream cheese until melted. Add chicken broth or milk gradually to create a smooth sauce.
Mix in ranch seasoning and shredded cheddar until creamy.
Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
Simmer 5–7 minutes until sauce thickens. Garnish if desired and serve hot.
