Ingredients
  

  • Wonton Shells
  • 20 wonton wrappers
  • Cooking spray or neutral oil
  • Crispy Chicken
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs, diced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons neutral oil
  • Sauce
  • ¼ cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon sesame oil
  • Toppings Optional
  • Shredded lettuce or cabbage
  • Sliced green onions
  • Sesame seeds
  • Cilantro
  • Spicy mayo or sweet chili sauce

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease wonton wrappers and press them into taco molds or between oven-safe racks.
  2. Bake for 7–10 minutes until golden and crisp. Set aside.
  3. In a bowl, toss chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cornstarch.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until crispy and fully cooked.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together all sauce ingredients.
  6. Add sauce to the skillet and toss chicken until evenly coated.
  7. Fill crispy wonton shells with saucy chicken.
  8. Garnish with desired toppings and serve immediately.
