Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 large egg room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla extract; mix until fully combined.
  4. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing just until dough comes together.
  5. Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
  6. Pipe swirls onto prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool briefly on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack.
