Ingredients
  

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg room temperature
  • tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup rainbow sprinkles jimmies

Method
 

  1. Preheat Oven
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Mix Dry Ingredients
  4. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  5. Cream Butter & Sugars
  6. Beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  7. Add Egg & Vanilla
  8. Mix in egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  9. Combine
  10. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  11. Fold in Sprinkles
  12. Gently fold in sprinkles without overmixing.
  13. Bake
  14. Scoop dough onto baking sheets and bake for 9–11 minutes, until edges are set and centers are soft.
  15. Cool
  16. Let cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
