Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
Brown the Beef
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned and slightly crispy. Drain excess fat if needed.
Build Flavor
Add onion and cook until softened. Stir in garlic, paprika, and Italian seasoning until fragrant.
Make the Sauce
Pour in beef broth and cream. Simmer gently until slightly thickened.
Combine
Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Add pasta water as needed.
Finish
Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan (and optional protein boost). Season to taste and serve warm.
