Ingredients
  

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup hot chocolate mix no marshmallows
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips semi-sweet or milk
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Method
 

  1. Preheat Oven
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Mix Dry Ingredients
  4. In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, hot chocolate mix, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Cream Butter & Sugars
  6. Beat butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  7. Add Egg & Vanilla
  8. Mix in egg and vanilla extract until combined.
  9. Combine
  10. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing just until incorporated.
  11. Fold in Add-Ins
  12. Gently fold in chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.
  13. Bake
  14. Scoop dough onto baking sheets and bake for 9–11 minutes, until edges are set and centers are soft.
  15. Cool Slightly
  16. Let cookies rest on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.
