Ingredients
  

  • Beef
  • lb beef sirloin ribeye, or flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • Bulgogi Marinade
  • ¼ cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • ¼ cup grated pear or apple optional, for tenderness
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • For Cooking
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil
  • Optional Garnish
  • Sliced green onions
  • Sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, whisk together all marinade ingredients until combined.
  2. Add sliced beef and toss to coat evenly. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight).
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add beef in a single layer and cook in batches, 2–3 minutes per side, until browned and caramelized.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish if desired. Serve immediately.
