White Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup 170 g white chocolate, chopped (high-quality, cocoa butter based)
  • ½ cup 113 g unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup 150 g granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup 95 g all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Optional Add-Ins
  • White chocolate chips
  • Fresh or freeze-dried raspberries
  • Macadamia nuts or almonds

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  3. Melt chocolate & butter
  4. Gently melt white chocolate and butter together over low heat or using a double boiler. Stir until smooth and let cool slightly.
  5. Mix wet ingredients
  6. Whisk sugar into the melted mixture, then add eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla.
  7. Add dry ingredients
  8. Fold in flour and salt just until combined. Do not overmix.
  9. Bake
  10. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 22–26 minutes, until edges are set and the center is just slightly soft.
  11. Cool & slice
  12. Let brownies cool completely before slicing.
